Chung Tai's summer retreat is a documented immersion in Chan practice, with repeated sitting and walking sessions alongside chanting and formal meals. Overseas participation and past English teaching are evidenced separately. It is a serious institutional route for trained or affiliated practitioners; the next intake and applicable entry requirements need confirmation.

Joining from overseas

Past overseas participation. 2026 participants included educators, college students and branch-centre practitioners. Current application route and prerequisites must be confirmed through the monastery/branch.

English support stated. Confirm instruction, translation and orientation for your specific programme.
