THE EXPERIENCE
A place to practise.
Zhiti Mountain’s Huayan Temple has unusually clear historical evidence for residential Chan practice. The monastery’s own notice describes structured sitting and walking, silence and supplied accommodation; a later announcement continues that pattern. This is a serious communal retreat lead whose current dates and entry requirements need checking, especially for newcomers or readers needing English instruction.
