THE EXPERIENCE

A place to practise.

Guoqing is retained because a dated report describes actual short meditation courses and pilgrim lodging, beyond the temple’s familiar visitor appeal. The reported practices included sitting, walking and contemplation. That evidence is old, and the two accessible versions appear to be related reporting, so neither current retreat admission nor ordinary overnight access should be assumed.
