THE EXPERIENCE
A place to practise.
Baizhang has repeated published evidence of residential Chan practice, from a summer camp with communal work to a longer spring retreat. The notices include food and lodging, but their admission standards differ. The later retreat is intended for participants with a practice foundation, so beginners should not assume that an earlier camp’s open format still applies.
