THE EXPERIENCE

A place to practise.

Shuanggui Tang has documented residential Chan practice for lay participants as well as monastics. A winter invitation explicitly paired a demanding retreat with temple lodging and meals, while a later roundup records another camp. These traces make it worth renewed enquiry, but they remain historical evidence. Current dates, admission requirements and language support have not been established.
